Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and ScaleLens AI Technologies (trading as "ScaleLens AI", "we", "us"). By accessing or using ScaleLens AI (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ScaleLens AI provides automated AI-generated audits of publicly accessible websites. Results are advisory and provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information, have authority to bind any organisation you represent, and be of legal age. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to (a) scan sites you do not own or lack permission to audit in a way that violates their terms; (b) use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, spam, IP infringement, or to interfere with security (malware, probing, scraping at scale); (c) reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service without consent; (d) circumvent technical limits of your plan.

5. Orders, Payments & Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries relating to billing and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.

Paid plans are billed in advance and subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or via Paddle's customer portal at paddle.net. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All ScaleLens AI software, branding, and content remain the property of ScaleLens AI Technologies. You retain ownership of any data you submit; you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host and process it solely to deliver the Service.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement). We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. AI Outputs & Acceptable Use of AI

You are responsible for your prompts, the inputs you submit, how you use outputs, verifying their accuracy, and ensuring you have rights to any content you submit. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not a substitute for professional advice. You must not use the Service to generate unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or harmful content, or to attempt to bypass safety controls. We may filter, restrict, or remove outputs and suspend accounts that breach this section. Rights-holders may submit takedown requests to legal@scalelens.ai; repeated infringement will result in account termination.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. You may cancel at any time from your account. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will provide a reasonable export window where feasible before deletion.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify ScaleLens AI Technologies against third-party claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ScaleLens AI Technologies is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
